About This Shortcut

Save workbook – The current worksheet is saved when you press Ctrl + S in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet programs. If your worksheet has never been saved before, the Save As window will appear so you can give it a name and select an appropriate file extension.

  • Window: Ctrl + S
  • Mac: Cmd + S
