About This Shortcut
Cut selection – The standard keyboard shortcut for cutting a selected piece of text, image, or another item is Ctrl + X.
Keybord shortcut key:
- Window: Ctrl + X
- Mac: Ctrl + X also work for Mac
Example:
Ctrl X selects the cell to be cut in the following image.
